A NEW CLUB FORMED A group of friends from Fremont area has ridden together on every Sunday since 1996 which led them to establish a cycling club and named the club "California Deaf Wheelers" (CDW).  It is affiliated with the USDCA.  Members of CDW paid 10 dollars; 5-dollar due goes to the USDCA for associate membership and the difference goes to the club.  The following founding members are: Bob Morrison, Jack Lamberton, Ethan Bernstein, Bobby Skedsmo and Ron Stern.  Skedsmo considered that this mission is important for the future of deaf cycling across the nation.  He will use this as a model for the others to develop its new club at their respective place.  If they do not have cycling club in their place, they can become member of USDCA by default.  Remember that being in a bike club is supposed to be fun.  That is the first and most obvious way to make your club better: have a good time!

Possible cycling clubs being formed in the future?
  1. Riverside?
  2. California State University Northridge?
  3. Rochester (NTID)?
  4. Indianapolis?
  5. Tucson?
  6. Colorado?
