Day Twelve - Thursday July 12 - Tequila to Tepic - 85 miles

9:00 am:  Head on to the plaza to book a reservation for two-hour tour at La Cofradia's tequila distillery.

12:00 pm:  Have a refreshment at the plaza as it will tick at 12 noon.

1:00 pm:  Visit La Rojena of Jose Cuervo, the oldest tequila distillery in Latin America.

4:00 pm:  Get ready to move on the winding road through the countryside to Tepic.

6:00 pm:  Arrive Tepic, the state capital, lies at the foot of the extinct Sanganguey volcano.  Go to either the Villa Las Rosas for $45 USD for 2/4 persons or Hotel Los Pinos Campground at Blvd Tepic Xalisco #150 for as liitle as $5 USD per person.
