Day Seven - Saturday July 7 - Cabo San Lucas to La Paz - 103 miles

9:00 am:  We depart Las Margaritas Inn Hotel in Cabo San Lucas for La Paz.  We will meet at the Pemex gas station at the "Y" intersection on Mex 19 and Ave Reforma.  We will take a different route (Mex 19) on the Pacific Ocean side.

Note:  We will see the untamed coastline of Pacific Ocean on the left side of Baja.  We may find time to browse some beaches.

10:45 am  Reach Todo Santos, a one-time sugar mill town turned artists colony and smack dab (squarely, exactly) on the Tropic of Cancer.  We will take a 30-minute break in this town before riding further north to reach La Paz of about 51 miles.

11:45 pm:  Ride thru La Paz.

1:00 pm:  Arrive at the ferry terminal in Pichilingue (La Paz's deepwater port - 9 miles north from La Paz). We will have to wait at the curb side until we could get in with our tickets and then wait in line until 2:30 pm.  We will finally board the California Star ferry boat.

3:00 pm:  We will hear or feel the loud sound of whistle announcing we are off to the mainland Mexico.
9:00 pm:  Arrive Topolobampo, a deep sea port, known for its shrimp fleet and fishing.  We will be rushed to reach our hotel before it gets too dark for motorcycling.  Hotel Corintios will be our destination for the night in Los Mochis which is about 15 miles from the port.
